What is the difference between a narrow mouth and an open top barrel?

A narrow mouth (tight-head) barrel has two small bungs and is used for free-flowing liquids. An open top barrel has a full removable lid with a clamp ring and is used for viscous products, pastes and solids.

Are UN-certified barrels available?

Yes. UN-rated HDPE barrels for the transport of dangerous goods are available on request.
