Bleaching Earth — overview
Natural and activated bleaching earth for decolourising edible and mineral oils. It belongs to our bleaching earth & filter aid range, part of the refinery clay & chemicals division of Hurain Engitech & Trade.
Bleaching earth is a bentonite (montmorillonite) clay that adsorbs colour pigments such as chlorophyll and carotenoids, residual soaps, phosphatides and trace metals from oils. Acid activation increases the clay's surface area and activity, so less clay is needed to reach the target colour — reducing oil lost in spent clay.
Filter aids such as diatomaceous earth and perlite form a porous cake on filter leaves, allowing fast filtration of fine particles and extending filter cycles.

Packing & shipping

Payment terms: 50% advance with order confirmation and 50% before dispatch against export documents; L/C at sight can be discussed for larger orders.
